À la folie
Art Direction & Graphic Design
“À la folie” is a video & photography project inspired by a text about “The Lovers” of Magritte. It talks about a love that clings to its own image and fears accepting its decay. A bond that was once intense but now survives more in memory than in reality. They hold on to what they once were, to the nostalgia of the early days, to the echoes of a passion that no longer burns.
It is an invisible wall—the same one that separates them in empty conversations and in nights where all that remains is a desire repeated out of habit. Their faces now blur into someone unrecognizable. They look at each other, but no longer find one another.
"À la folie" is love taken to the extreme, but also the madness of holding onto it when it has already begun to fade.
